1943's doll house clock by JAZ. 2.5 " x 3" x 3/8" weighs .2 oz. Shipping in 5x5 x2 box at 1.5 lbs. $14.
Dollhouse clock, yellow plastic tinted in the mass, painted numbers, rotating hands on central rivet. 7.4 cm x 5.6 cm. The Jaz stamp and the presence of the boreal waxwing attest to a production after 1942/43 at least.
The casting being hollow, the weight is only 10 gr. Its edition could not be done without the agreement of Jaz however we do not currently have any documentation relating to this toy by the brand with the boreal waxwing . The information therefore comes from old catalogs of games and toys.
The model that vaguely inspired this doll clock is obviously the SOFIC . The presence of the low-tailed logo therefore indicates that this is the post-war version of this ceramic clock that was available for sale from 1946 to 1953.
