Antique Folk Art Walnut Head Doll

Folk Art Doll from the 1920's - 1930's. Head is made from a seed/nut. Face is painted on the nut. Dolls body has an inner firm wire frame wrapped in a cloth stuffing and tightly sewn cotton body. Dress is complete with a cotton crocheted  shawl, cotton slip with lace trim, and pantaloons with lace trim. Dolls legs have on a layer of material like stockings. Doll has a straw hat with a black ribbon bow. Doll is about 8.5" tall.
